DACA’s Sixth Form Rated in the Top 10% Nationally

Alps, the A Level Prediction Service, which is used by over 2000 schools and colleges across England, Wales and Northern Ireland, has presented DACA with their Certificate of Outstanding Progress for the second year running. This recognises DACA’s outstanding results which have placed the sixth form in the top 10% of schools and colleges nationally for the last four years.

We are a smaller provision in comparison to

some of our larger college neighbours and we pride ourselves on knowing our students well and personalising their sixth form experience. This year we have the highest number of students applying to and receiving offers from prestigious universities across the country, and our highest number of students currently studying at Oxford University. This supports Ofsted’s findings in their last inspection, that “The Sixth Form goes from strength to strength,” and further validates our position as one of the leading post 16 provisions in the region.”

The T score grading averages scores for teaching, learning and achievement to give one overall annual grade. The three year T Score averages this score for the last three years, demonstrating both DACA’s excellent achievement, progress and consistency over the previous three years.

We are still recruiting for entry into Year 12 in September 2019. Please contact the sixth form team on 01254 819517 for more details or to book a meeting and tour of the sixth form facilities. Alternatively, please complete an application form on our website and you will be invited to an interview in due course where we will discuss your career ambitions and how DACA sixth form can help you get there.
