10 Years Celebrations - Awards Evening

On the 13th December, we held our annual Awards Evening. This year we are celebrating the 10th anniversary of DACA, so the evening was extra special. Our founder, Sir Rod Aldridge, was our special guest and he gave a motivational and inspiring speech to our students, parents and staff. It was fantastic to see so many past and present students receive their awards and to feel rightly proud of their achievements. We have achieved so much over the previous 10 years at DACA and our students have access to such a wide range of opportunities here at the heart of the community in Darwen.

I look forward to working with parents, students and staff on the next stage of DACA’s journey to ensure that we do continue to offer such a wide range of opportunities. I also want to ensure that every child here is offered the highest quality teaching and therefore excellent learning experiences, based on the best methodology and research. We will continue to improve and adapt so that our students are fully equipped with the skills, knowledge and often, sheer tenacity and self-awareness they will need to live in an ever-changing society.
