Sixth Form Netball Hits a high

The Sixth Form Netball Academy have had a brilliant start to the 2019-2020 season. After 3 weeks of pre-season training and fitness the first game was against local rival St Wilfred’s. It was a very tight game throughout but we took the win 26-21 in the final quarter. Our 2nd game of the season was against Rainhill Sixth Form. Another tight game with us drawing at half time. We had a fantastic 3rd quarter with Ria Barton in particular getting some crucial intercepts to win the quarter by 10. The final score was a brilliant 39-27 win. The Player of the Match was Ria Barton, but the whole squad played absolutely fantastic and were a credit to the Academy.
