Year 8 Commendation Assembly

On Tuesday 25th February parents, carers, tutors and Year 8 students came together for the annual Commendation Assembly where we celebrate the achievements of all young people at DACA.

Students were commended and awarded with certificates for excellence in their lessons, for superb work, for outstanding contributions to PSHE and Votes For Schools, for their attendance, for representing DACA at football, cricket, netball and athletics and for personal achievements.

Every student in year 8 received a certificate from the Principal Miss Dolan. Each tutor group was introduced by their form tutor and then gave a presentation where they talked about what they were proud of and what they hope to achieve in the future.
