Special Announcement

Following the announcement by the Prime Minister this evening that schools will be closed from Friday until further notice, we would like to provide some clarity for parents and carers. We will be open as normal on Thursday 19th March and Friday 20th March. Attendance for these days is particularly important given that we will be distributing any work packs and instructions for online and remote learning. We will also be providing details for parents and students of how we will remain in contact with you during the period of closure. The academy will close at 3:15pm on Friday 20th March. As stated in the Prime Minister’s announcement , children who have EHCP status, are subject to a child protection plan and children whose parents are “key workers”, emergency services or the NHS will be provided for. We will be contacting parents and carers asking for further information around this.

We will keep you updated with any plans and news through the MyEd app, the academy website and other media. We know that this is a worrying time, but rest assured that we will continue to put our students at the heart of what we do and continue to educate and look after them as best as we can.
